Voxygen's TTS for Conviviance

In 2015, Conviviance, the leader in digitalising the user experience for local services, partnered with Voxygen to push back the boundaries of the user experience. The objective was clear: to offer a unique user experience and increase customer satisfaction.

ALiS, Conviviance's latest-generation voice assistant, has been integrated with Voxygen's innovative solution. This transformation was motivated by Voxygen's differentiation in terms of voices, which are always qualitative, original and even memorable. In addition to Voxygen's widely acclaimed professional voices, Conviviance wanted to add a fun and original dimension to its solution demos by integrating Voxygen's fun voices, such as that of a witch, Electra or children, thus offering a differentiating demonstration to its customers. This voice strategy not only serves to surprise; it is also a powerful communication tool.

Beyond the voices, the real innovation lies in the way the Voxygen technology has been integrated. Conviviance has opted for Voxygen Device, an on-board text-to-speech solution that can be used offline. The benefits are twofold: firstly, customers can take advantage of voice assistance without the need for an internet connection. Secondly, it offers a higher level of security, as the data remains with the customer.

“The solution is embedded, it's in your premises, you can cut the Internet connection and everything's fine. No security problems.”

This integration has proved particularly useful for Conviviance's in-house PBXs, with AliS making it possible to find the right correspondent quickly and efficiently. In this context, Conviviance was able to appreciate the pronunciation quality of Voxygen's technology, particularly for directory entries in French, a language for which Voxygen achieves unrivalled linguistic accuracy.

In short, the collaboration between Conviviance and Voxygen has given rise to a unique technological synergy and a lasting partnership based on a relationship of trust and proximity, with the aim of redefining the future of the user experience and laying the foundations for tomorrow's customer relations.
